Bagan Archeological Museum
Houses a collection of Buddhist images and artwork, as well as implements and tools used in everyday life by Bagan's earliest inhabitants.

Shwezigon Pagoda
Believed to contain a bone and a tooth of the Buddha, the sprawling Shwezigon Pagoda is the favorite destination of pilgrims to Bagan.

Thatbyinnyu Temple
Built during Bagan's most creative period, the Thatbyinnyu Temple rises to a height of 61 meters, making it the tallest temple in Bagan. Steep narrow stairways lead to the upper terrace where a large Buddha image is mounted.

Ananda Temple
Most representative of Early Period Bagan architecture. A structure rising to 51 meters, the Ananda Temple's exterior magnificence and wondrous interior spaces attract pilgrims and tourists from all over.
