1. Peacocks There are three peacocks kept at our hotel as pets. If you are lucky, you can see them strolling in our garden. If not, you can always visit them at the peacock house on the premise of our hotel compound. They will welcome you with their beautiful figure.

2. Myanmar Fortune Telling You can get your fortunes told at our hotel! We have a fortune-teller who is highly admired by the locals for the accurateness of her fortune-telling. She is known for her fortune-telling method that uses a combination of your date of birth and shells. You will be amazed by how precisely she predicts and reads your past, present, and even future. If you’d like to see our fortune-teller, please ask at the tour desk. It’s definitely worth a try!

3. Banyan Tree There is a giant tree called Banyan Tree on our hotel premises. Banyan Tree is known as a “Sacred Tree,” and the view of the tree is simply magnificent. As you come close to the tree, you will feel the special magic aura. We recommend that you would have a visit there, especially in the morning when the air is crisp and clear, and feel the magical enchantment yourself.

4. Observatory There is an observatory at our hotel. The observatory is located in the highest place on the premises of our hotel compound. The view of the Irrawaddy River at sunset from the observatory is absolutely breathtaking.

5. Thiripyitsaya Original Goods At our souvenir shop, you can purchase a variety of our hotel’s original goods. These goods include: Bagan cookies, shawl (silk/lotus), laundry bag, coffee, polo shirt, 2007calender, tea, cap, memo pad. If you are hunting for a special souvenir for yourself, we highly recommend a shawl made of lotus stem. Fabric made of lotus stem is produced only in a small number of places in the world. In order to weave a yard of cloth, it takes about a 10,000 lotus stems. Such a precious fabric can be quite expensive in other places besides Myanmar. It may cost a little more compared to silk and cotton, but it would surely be your favorite treasure. As a souvenir for your friends and family, how about our original Bagan Cookies? These delicious cookies are only available at our souvenir stores in "Bagan Thiripyitsya Sakura Hotel" in Bagan and "Thiripyitsaya Sky Lounge" at the Sakura Tower in Yangon.
