and Crafts Demonstrations --- |
| Myanmar
has a proud history in arts and crafts. There are a significant
number of talented artists, artisans and craftsmen who have
honed their skills with techniques and secrets handed down
from generation to generation. In this connection, starting
this November, Thiripyitsaya is presenting demonstrations
of silk weaving, lacquer-making as well as thanaka preparation
and usage, in the Thiripyitsaya Gallery. The schedule for
these demonstrations will be posted at the hotel lobby and
in the hotel newsletter on a daily basis. |

New
Pavilion and Garden Bars ---
Thiripyitsaya
is pleased to announce the opening of its new Bars situated
in the Pavilion by the Verandah Grill, and in the Garden
beyond the Sunset Deck. There will be no better vantage
points from which to admire river and garden views while
sipping favorite beverages, by oneself or with friends.
The Garden Bar is also easily accessible from the Pool. |

| Holidays
at Thiripyitsaya --- |
| The
holiday season gets off to a rousing start on October 28th
with the Festival of Lights, or Thadingyut, the end of Buddhist
Lent. A specially festive mood will prevail all over the country
--- Thiripyitsaya celebrates with hundreds of oil lamps lit
all around the Hotel. |

With
Christmas comes a special Yuletide
Menu, which will be available for lunch and dinner or
24th and 25th December, at US$20 NETT per person. There will
also be caroling at the Hotel on both days.
New Year's Eve - welcome 2005 by partying with us at Thiripyitsaya!
A scrumptious International
Buffet, live dance music, games, fireworks and surprises
await revelers on 31st December, starting at 7:00 PM. All
these for US$40 NETT per person.
