Christmas was a festive affair at Thirpyitsaya, with
special menus including the traditional turkey and plum pudding,
caroling by the Thiripyitsaya staff choir, and special lighting
around the Hotel. New Year was welcomed with a big poolside
celebration at Thiripyitsaya, with a sumptuous international
buffet, live entertainment, lucky raffle draws, the traditional
Myanmar elephant dance, and fireworks at midnight to usher
in the New Year. |

movie actress Loretta Fok Chu, who is Myanmar-born, visited
